The project, which is part of the broader objective of climate change mitigation of the LIFE Program for the Environment and Climate Change 2014-2020, will contribute to the diffusion of innovative tools for environmental protection and efficient use of resources in agriculture.
The project
LIFE AGRESTIC
aims to promote the adoption of innovative and efficient cropping systems, based on the introduction of legumes and catch crops in four-year rotations of cereals and industrial crops, and of innovative tools in order to mitigate the impact of agricultural activity on climate change and optimize agronomic management. The project, lasting 4 and a half years, involves six partners: Horta Srl, ART-ER S.Cons.p.a., Isea srl, New Business Media srl, Scuola Superiore di Studi Universitari e di Perfezionamento Sant’Anna e Università Cattolica del Sacro Cuore di Piacenza.
